Today’s Tutorial is a new one for me: I made a video.
I have been thinking of doing a video for a while now- taking photographs of a tutorial at each step, and then processing those photos and typing up my explanation of each photo is time consuming. And I have done that a lot, and I needed to move forward- do something new.
And when I say move forward, I literally jump in with both feet splat into a new challenge!
Today’s video is for the Make a Card in 5 minutes Challenge at Kristina’s blog.
I have only recently come to know of Kristina and her blog. I love love love her cardmaking style and she has tons of cardmaking videos up on her blog.
And I remember last month, when the hubby was travelling (and we lost the concept of bedtime at home) many nights Nidhi and I would sit in bed and watch Kristina’s videos. She would point out to stuff and say things like- ooh we have that punch mommy and it used to be fun for both of us.
(Not to say, there is only so much of Dora I could watch/listen to in a day)
So back to today’s video.
This is the first video I have ever shot, and by no means is it great- but I thinks its not too bad- and I am kinda scare but still am sharing it with you all.
(Be kind to me!)
During this video, I will be making a card using washi tape to create a fun background.
At times, I am working at the edge of the screen, though I do get back to the center quickly.
At times I am mumbling- and you wont hear me properly. This happens a lot. Thankfully, its a video, and you will still be able to see what I am doing Image may be NSFW.

At times I will be babbling- Ha! Shooting a video – and talking to your card as you make it is not as easy as it looks. And that timer did not help!
I have got used to talking to my computer screen and blogging my thoughts; doing a video is a whole new world.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video, and thanks for supporting me and my crafty endeavors Image may be NSFW.
