Hello beautiful day! You wouldn’t believe it’s mid March out here, it’s so warm and sunny. And so we are headed to the lake, because if you live in Minnesota, you have a favorite lake for sure. Not much time to blog, but I have been scrapping a lot. Got this months Studio calicos kit, the Story hour, and I have rediscovered my love for paper scrapbooking. I have been printing photos like mad, and everyone of them have landed on a page already! Love feeling this accomplished 
So I have three layouts to share today, all using just this months main kit. There are going to be lots of photos and less words cause that the mood I am in today (and arent photo posts the best?)
First layout, titled “7months”
–> Big photo, lots of colors, lots of journaling and lots of stitching. inspired by this.
Second layout, titled ” this is us now”
–> lots of tone on tone, lots of paint, and lots of doodling with pen; inspired by this which originally came from here,
Third layout, titled “little fingers”
–> lots of yellows, lots of stitching, lots of fussy cutting and some painting involved; inspired by this.
(used the glassine bag in which Amy Tangerines fabric yo yo’s came, it was just too cute to throw away!)
I actually have made 4 layouts with the kit already (and have two more planned, yeah, I am loving this scrappy energy I have!) but… I have saved that fourth project for something else. No, I am not submitting it to a publication, but instead, it is going to be a project the husband and I to do together. My part was to take photos of the making, finish the layout, and process the photos; which I have completed and handed the photos over to him. I have been peering over his shoulder as he worked this evening, which I dont think really helped, and he finally said “It is not going to be done today, and not tomorrow either. It has to be perfect and that will take time.”
Yup, we tend to be perfectionists. A little bit of OCD is involved too. And when I say we, I am not being sarcastic, I actually mean we= him and me.
But that is what will make it special and hopefully amazing! I am super excited. Stay tuned….
